The artist
I discovered my calling at four—and have followed it for a lifetime.
I grew up in Harlem as one of twelve children and discovered early that clay and paint could open a world of my own. Art remained a constant as life took me to Brooklyn, through raising a family, and eventually into retirement.
Today, I work with complete freedom, creating figurative works that reflect my lived experience, spirituality, personal growth, and the beauty of listening to my inner voice.
